GAI’s engineers apply the principles of hydraulics, hydrology, and hydrogeology when addressing water challenges for clients’ transportation, infrastructure and land development projects. We work to prevent or minimize flood damage, protect bridge piers and foundations, manage and redirect streams and wetlands, investigate groundwater conditions, and maximize water resources for municipal, industrial, and private clients.
Blending practical experience and academic training, GAI’s professionals skillfully analyze water properties, water distribution, and water circulation on land surfaces, as well as in soil and rock. We also provide hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using HEC-1 and HEC-2 computer program modeling. Our specialists provide groundwater assessments and gather geologic and hydrogeologic data for permit applications, working closely with approving agencies.
Long-established relationships with the permitting agencies and familiarity with their processes and requirements, are key components to GAI’s ability to complete permit approval processes successfully. To learn more, view our Water Feature Projects.
