Interstate 79 Reconstruction, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania 

Highway and Bridge Design -- Preliminary engineering, environmental studies, final designs, shop drawing review and consultation for the total reconstruction of 5 miles of Interstate 79 in Collier Township, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Cost: $96.5M

1994  ABCD, Outstanding New Bridge Award

Tygart River Bridge, Barbour and Randolph Counties, WV

Bridge Design - Dual 1,300-ft. continuous steel, multi-girder bridges carrying US Rt. 33 over the Tygart River in WV. Each of the 7- and 8-span bridges had a 5000-ft. radius, spans up to 300-ft. and piers up to 125-ft. high

1993 ABCD, New Major Structure Award

Williamstown-Marietta Bridge, Wood County, WV

Bridge Design - A new 1250-ft. two-span, continuous thru-truss over the Ohio River, with an 800-ft., 6-span continuous curved multigirder north approach, and a 440-ft. span continuous south approach. Features include two new river piers and one rehabilitated river pier

Ash/Mine Refuse Disposal Design - Permitting, design, and construction monitoring of one of the first residual waste disposal sites with a synthetic liner

1991 ABCD, Outstanding Major Bridge Reconstruction Award

West End Bridge and West End Circle, Pittsburgh, PA

Bridge Design - Complete rehabilitation of the 778-ft., twin tied-arch structure and replacement of the West End Circle structure

East Street Valley Expressway, Pittsburgh, PA

Fly Ash Demonstration/Highway Design - Used 400,000 tons of fly ash as structural fill for an embankment on a section of I-279; with a savings of $200K in construction and $600K in disposal costs
