The City of Fort Wayne began as an 18th Century trade outpost, and more than 200 years later continues to contribute to the American experience. Joining the search for new energy sources, Fort Wayne grain producers are turning their agricultural knowledge into solutions for the development of biofuels. In 2009, the U.S. Department of Energy committed $50 million in renewable energy funding to Fort Wayne, promoting geothermal technology as another clean alternative to fossil fuels. The birthplace of the television set, Fort Wayne is both a hub of American manufacturing and the crossroads to new energy sources.

GAI-Fort Wayne specializes in community development projects, and its design portfolio includes parks, trails, roadways, and infrastructure improvements throughout Allen County and northeast Indiana. The office's transportation and environmental engineering consultants provide civil site design and geotechnical engineering. Our professionals also assist in environmental permitting for the region's new and refitted bio-diesel, as well as waste-to-energy plants.
