Paying close attention to constructability and cost-benefit issues, GAI uses an objective ranking process to analyze and develop alternatives for new and re-routed transmission line corridors as well as new substation sites.
Our environmental permitting specialists use an advanced Geographic Information System (GIS) to inventory resources and assess environmental impacts. GAI works through the red-tape of local, state, and federal permitting by addressing compliance issues early and establishing lines of communication that reduce agency approval time.
With an in-house cultural resources staff to mitigate historic and archaeological matters, GAI provides comprehensive engineering and environmental services to support clients’ siting and permitting needs.
