Crispell-Snyder, Inc., A GAI Company

April 2013 — GAI acquired Crispell-Snyder, Inc. to expand operations in Wisconsin and support overall local government, transportation, real estate, and energy market capabilities in the Midwest.  Crispell-Snyder, a well-established company with over 30 years of experience, serves municipalities, utilities, state and federal agencies, and private developers throughout Wisconsin. Headquartered in Lake Geneva, WI, they are also located in Milwaukee, Madison, and Racine and provide a broad range of engineering consulting and construction management services. Crispell-Snyder, a GAI Company, will continue to provide innovative and quality solutions in design, GIS, construction management, site development, transportation planning, and landscape architecture, while pursuing opportunities with GAI that support energy, local government, and Department of Transportation clients.

Lotspeich and Associates, A GAI Company

January 2013 — GAI acquired Lotspeich and Associates, Inc. (L&A) of Winter Park, FL to expand our environmental consulting capabilities in the Southeast. L&A specializes in ecological sciences consulting services such as wetland delineation and permitting, protected species surveys and management, GIS land use mapping, eminent domain assessments, and habitat evaluation and restoration. Their staff has diverse experience in evaluating and characterizing ecological systems, and assists clients in interpreting all levels of regulatory compliance and meeting permitting requirements. L&A has relocated to the GAI Building in downtown Orlando to take advantage of available in-house accounting, marketing, and administrative services.

Bellomo-Herbert, A GAI Company

April 2012 — GAI acquired Bellomo-Herbert and Company, Inc. (BH) of Orlando, FL, a landscape architectural firm, to enhance our abilities in landscape design. Established in 1990, BH brings a broad range of talent and ingenuity to GAI’s landscape design services. BH’s unique design process is guided by lifestyle research, proven landscape technologies, and a deep understanding of how people use outdoor spaces. Their landscape architectural projects have received state and national recognition for creative design, innovative excellence, and value added solutions. BH will continue to serve their clients and pursue new opportunities operating as Bellomo-Herbert, A GAI Company. Having relocated their staff to The GAI Building in downtown Orlando, they will also pursue ventures jointly with GAI.

Metz & Associates, A GAI Company

March 2012 — GAI acquired Metz and Associates, LLC (Metz) of Oviedo, FL to enhance our transportation engineering services and strengthen our design-build capabilities. Metz, a "boutique" bridge engineering firm founded in 1995, has more than 17 years of structural engineering experience and excels in design-build, value engineering, and construction-phase design. They will continue to provide superior service to their clients as Metz & Associates, LLC, a GAI Company, while pursuing opportunities with GAI and as a subconsultant to other prime consultants. Metz has relocated its staff to The GAI Building in downtown Orlando.

Real Estate Research Consultants, Inc., A GAI Company

January 2012 — GAI acquired Real Estate Research Consultants, Inc. (RERC) of Orlando, FL to broaden our scope of services. RERC provides real estate and economic advisory consulting to public, institutional, and private clients throughout the United States, addressing complex issues on community development and real estate property holdings. With shared interests in community development, public finance, and public/private initiatives, this union of GAI and RERC formalizes and strengthens a working relationship between our two firms that started in 1990. RERC staff is located in The GAI Building in downtown Orlando.

Lee Simpson Associates, Inc., A GAI Company 

January 2012 — GAI acquired Lee-Simpson Associates, Inc. (LSA) of DuBois, PA to enhance our capabilities in airport design and support our work in civil, geotechnical, electrical, and transportation engineering, as well as environmental studies and permitting. LSA is a civil engineering and environmental studies consulting firm with more than 50 years of airport engineering and planning experience. Their dedicated airport specialists provide a broad range of services that cover conveyance systems, electrical and lighting systems, runways, control towers, buildings, and access areas. LSA will continue to serve its loyal client base in DuBois, clients throughout Pennsylvania, and clients nationwide, from their office in DuBois.
