2013 has already started as a very busy and exciting year for us at GAI. We continue to experience steady growth by expanding our core services through organic growth, acquisitions and strategic hires. We also continue to look to the future and plan for how we need to evolve as a company.   

We acquired the firm Lotspeich & Associates in early 2013 to enhance GAI’s offerings in environmental sciences, GIS, and ecological practice areas in the Southwest.  Lotspeich specializes in evaluating undeveloped land, assessing individual project impacts, permit negotiations, and integrating protected species into managed lands. They bring us a 32-year history of environmental work and strong relationships within both the public and private market sectors.

In addition, I am pleased to announce the expansion of our Wisconsin presence by recently adding Crispell-Snyder to the GAI family. The seasoned staff and services of Crispell-Snyder will further enhance GAI’s local government, transportation, real estate, and energy market capabilities in the Midwest. Founded in 1979, Crispell-Snyder has a staff of 50 employees and is headquartered in Lake Geneva, WI. They also maintain office locations in Milwaukee, Madison, Racine, and Fox Valley. Crispell-Snyder is a well establish company and offers a diverse range of services to support our local government, Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Energy clients.

Both of these latest additions to the GAI family bring solid reputations, long-standing client relationships and collectively further expand the depth of our overall resources. 

We continue to monitor how we are performing, both financially as well as in terms of client satisfaction and I am pleased with the efforts our employees have made to position GAI where it is today. We ended 2012 in a positive position and 2013 doesn’t show any signs of slowing down as we work to keep up with the marketplace and our client’s needs.
