As we enter 2012, I want to thank all our clients for your continued, trusted relationships.
As a firm, GAI accomplished a lot in 2011. We successfully expanded our presence in the energy market with the acquisition of a Wisconsin-based transmission line siting firm, EnPower, and further expanded our presence in the Midwest by opening a new office in Columbus, Ohio. Also, in our desire to continually provide outstanding customer service, we launched an in-house Client Care program we call “Client First.”
Now as we look forward to what the New Year has in store, I am very optimistic about our future. We are continuing to grow through the recent acquisitions of Lee-Simpson Associates, Inc. (LSA), an airport design firm, and Real Estate Research Consultants, Inc. (RERC), a real estate advisory firm.
We are excited to bring these expanded services into the GAI fold through these dynamic companies who share GAI’s core values of trusted client relationships based on solid technical professionalism and superior customer service.
While many things change, our core values should continue to guide us. GAI is refreshing our Corporate Charter with a new fresh look… but it includes the same important values that have guided us for well over 50 years. Our Vision reads: To strategically grow our business, nationally and internationally, in partnership and trust with our clients and staff. And our Mission states: We meet our clients’ challenges by empowering our employee-owners to transform ideas into reality®. We have posted our new Charter on our website to serve as a constant reminder of GAI’s overall commitment to our clients and employees.
I’m anticipating that 2012 will continue to be financially strong for GAI, and I expect further growth as a company overall. I am confident that we are on the right path toward building an even better organization and wish all our clients, employees and neighbors a peaceful and prosperous New Year
Gary DeJidas, P.E.
President and CEO, GAI Consultants, Inc.
